OverviewFrom Machu Pichu the golden visitors started arriving, slowly dispersing out through the land. Any who they communed with were converted, until the surrounding governments began evacuations. Now, the region around Machu Pichu stands mostly empty except for the golden ones and their servants. Envoys to surrounding nations have informed them that the area is now the nation of Hanan Pacha, and that visitors are welcome as long as they convert. Meanwhile, on the peak near Machu Pichu, they've begun building an immensely tall spire, that repels any flying craft that tries to approach.

FriendsHanan Pacha claims to be friendly with everyone, although some have their doubts. They have not however, initiated hostilities with anyone.
EnemiesHana Pacha has no stated enemies. Many nations consider them a threat though, as it is unknown how their conversion process works.

Denizens
Amaru
High the the massive canopies of the rain forests, live The Golden's pets, the Amaru. These winged serpents hate sunlight, but fortunately that's not a problem under the canopy, where they're free to swoop down on smaller creatures, including humans, curl around them, crush them, and swallow them whole. The Golden The rulers of Hanan Pacha are slender golden beings, seemly formed out of liquid gold, and their skin is never quite still, but ripples back and forth. They rarely touch the ground though, instead preferring to hover slightly, supported either by some unknown force, or by their large golden membranous wings. They never speak, but somehow communicate to the yurupari and to their converts. |
Machukuna
The Machukuna are undead spirits former priests of Machu Pichu. For some reason, The Golden have been raising them. So far, they stay near to their burial places, and act as defenders if anyone other than The Golden climb the mountain. Their bodies are nearly invisible, just wisps in the wind, but the gauntlets they wear are heavy gold and stone affairs, with massive serrated claws. Whiwin Whiwin arise from pools of water that are polluted or stagnant. the maximum size of them depends on the size of the pool, but they are larger than humans when The Golden create them. They resemble nothing as much as they do mosquitoes, though their legs are thicker to enable them to support the heavier weight of their bodies. Their bite is not to suck blood, though often times their original victim is partially drained, but to spread disease, and the further it speads the larger the Whiwin grows, until either it is killed, or it returns to Machu Pichu and is drained.. When that happens, all the sufferers of it's disease are killed. |
Yaguarogui
These may appear as panthers or jaguars in the shifting shadows of the jungle, and seem quite docile, until night time. Once darkness falls, they are seen more clearly for what they are, and in the moonlight the spectral beasts glow green as they prowl around the outskirts of villages and towns, looking for lone humans. They kill them, but never disturb the bodies, other than to take their heads. Yurupari The yurupari were the first servants of The Golden, and began appearing in areas where The Golden had taken over. Massively strong, larger than a bull, and exceedingly brutal, they look for those who seek to dissuade ones from converting, or ones who pretend to convert. If they find these, they savagely attack immediately, with no other goal than simply the death of their targets. |
