AVENGERS
These heroes banded together in the years after the Downfall, beginning with the duo of Daredevil and Wasp, joined by Cyclops, Falcon, and Songbird. When they started handling more global threats they were joined by Namor and Psylocke. The latest addition to their roster is Captain Marvel, possibly the strongest hero to date.

CYCLOPS
Not only does Cyclops possess the ability to project beams of immense strength from his eyes, he is also one of the best tactical minds in the world. In fact, the less time he has to make a decision, the better it will be. He can also use this ultra-high level of awareness to ricochet his beams in amazing patterns, almost always hitting his mark.

DAREDEVIL
When young Matt Murdock saved a blind pedestrian from a crashing truck, a radioactive isotope spilled onto him from the vehicle. The substance blinded Matt, but he soon found that his other senses were amplified to superhuman levels. He also manifested a "radar sense" that allowed him to visualize his surroundings without relying on sight. Matt went on to receive training from the ninja master Stick. By night, he protects his home neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen from criminals and super-villains.

PSYLOCKE
Psylocke is a high-level psychic, capable of not only telepathy and telekinesis, but also cable of masking her presence from others, and manifesting psychic blades. Her telekinetic katana blade can disrupt neural pathways and sever the bonds between molecules, or slice through the armor of an opponent, but leave the attacker physically unharmed.

STORM
Over the course of her life, Ororo Monroe has been trained as a juvenile thief, worshiped as a goddess, and hated as a mutant. Her control over the climate has been honed through constant training and numerous battles, and her arsenal of elemental powers, from shattering lightning strikes to freezing winds, make her a force of nature to be feared and respected.

WASP
Driven by a desire to avenge her father's murder, Janet underwent a biochemical process involving Hank Pym's Pym Particles that allowed her to shrink to insectoid proportions and to grow wings. Furthermore, Pym outfitted her with wrist devices which allowed her to discharge blasts she called her "wasp's stings".
