Bordered by high hills to the north and flat land to the south and east, Evenshore was in the perfect spot to become a sprawling port town. In the century before the Sky Wars, the town had grown larger and larger as a secondary shipping hub to Nordviken.
When the war came, Evenshore was not easily defensible, and was quickly razed to the ground. Those who stayed vowed to rebuild. After the war, the city began sprawling again, but not in the same way. The extensive destruction in Evenshore led to many legal and physical altercations over property lines which, in turn, led those on the losing end to build out into the calm waters of the bay.
Now, a generation after the Tempest, Evenshore exists more on the water than on it's former site. Much of the rubble from the war has just been dragged out into the bay as the city continuously builds westward.
